Will Sarah Palin's biography video include her participation in Miss Alaska?

Settled as No

NO mention of her participation in Miss Alaska

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddRoiVWfLyU

Background:

As a relative unknown, the RNC has a unique opportunity to use Sarah's bio video to define her to the voters. This video will be much more important than most bio videos and should offer some good insight as to what the Republicans think Mrs Palin brings to the campaign. There are a number of interesting elements to her biography, will they include her participation in the Miss Alaska contest?

Isn't it ironic that Mrs. Palin is the VP candidate after McCain ran those attack ads featuring Paris Hilton.

no. care to explain?

No.

Well, I figure one has to be 1) living in the US, 2) a male, 3) not a Republican, or 4) watched the McCain ad, to appreciate the irony.

But perhaps this will shed some insight into this subject:

and, hey, weren't you the one to make comment #5 there?

Yes, of course it's ironic... He was quite willing to criticize Obama for being a celebrity/beauty, but then chooses someone who actually is, as a running mate! So, it shows how irrational he (as well as most humans) is. Anyway, I agree, although I am not sure how one totally defines it, in practice....

in any case, i fit rk725's criteria to appreciate the irony......, so i do....
if you do not , anyone, care to explain?

Count me as one who does not see the irony.

Sarah Palin has a recent history of being the Governor of Alaska.
Paris Hilton has a recent history of participating in a sex film.

Oh, now I get it - they are BOTH women. . .

Sure I will explain - Sarah Palin is NOT a celebrity... (witness all the "Sarah who?" comments in the media, and news-casters who didn't know how to pronounce her name...) Barack, on the other hand, is brashly playing the celebrity card, and that commentary fits him to a 'T'

As to John criticizing Barack for his beauty... you got that out of it - not me! LOL

BHO is stuck on hope and change and hope and change and hope and change, and when asked for specifics he speaks of hope and change and believe and hope and change and believe... now I understand Barakopolis... he's inflating his image to a celebrity messiah like status to fool the masses... don't ask him tough questions... just hope and believe and hope and believe...

I haven't heard a politician speak my mind like she did tonight since Ronald Reagan :-)

@f_o_f, yeah, Sarah's speech was awesome. Even Rudi was good this time, & normally I can't stand the guy.

I was thinking about the fury that folk on the left unleashed on Mrs Palin. Imagine what (Barack Hussein O.) would say if that were leveled against him - He was whining about a liberal essay writer noticing his big ears! He was upset when a liberal magazine put a cartoon about him on it's cover! LOL And when his wife made that unfortuate comment about finally being proud about America, (and was rightly rebuked for the remark) he begged everyone to "lay off his wife".

Compare that to what his campaign, the media, and left wing bloggers have been subjecting Mrs Palin and her family to all week. The difference in character is stunning.

@ # 's 8 & 9 above.

I concur completely. Senator Obama pledges to sit down quickly with real, suspected or confirmed enemies, without preconditions, but appears to be a bit too fragile in the face of critiques, at least for a President.

Guys, can we please do a little less propaganda spreading here?
Obama's response to Palin: "Barack Obama said Thursday that attacks on him at this week’s Republican National Convention were no big deal: “I’ve been called worse on the basketball court,” he told reporters at an afternoon press conference." http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/09/04/obama-ive-been-called-worse-on-the-basketball-court/

Now if Obama could just figure out the pay grade of the President of the United States of America....

My favorite propaganda strategy is to quote him! He generously hands me ammo on a silver platter ;-)

Uh, yeah. We were not talking about anything that Republicans said about Barack... this was his own party
