Background:Everyone has noticed the remarkable resemblance between former Saturday Night Live regular Tina Fey and McCain's choice as a running mate, Sarah Palin of Alaska. Will Palin make an appearance with Tina Fey on an episode of SNL prior to the November election? Hillary appeared with Amy Poelher earlier this year. And who can forget the stunning performance Tina made recently depicting Sarah Palin on SNL? Seems like a natural choice...

secert service was checking out rockafeller center. supposely palin will make a appearence on snl. don't know if tina will be their. OK magazine reported. dunno if OK mag is a good source or not.
On The Today show this morning they said that Sarah Palin was asked if she would do the show...and she said she was very interested in doing a bit with Tina Fey. I cant wait to see that cameo!!! How could you tell them apart????
Does this question include the 3 Thursday SNL Prime-Time specials on NBC at 9:30. By definition, I think it should, since it was not technically excluded. The show is called Saturday Night Live Weekend Update on Thursday.
I would be peeved if I predicted yes, she shows on a Thursday, and the question is scored a no.
I voted no, due to the laws in place for campaign advertising. If SNL cleared Palin to appear on the show, they would need to include either Obama or Biden as a "balancing force" or be required to pay.
I'd be 100% for her appearing within two weeks after the election, if McCain/Palin take the election.
just a observation. the "An appearance on the Thursday night: SNL Weekend Updates will also count towards settlement" was recently added. that changed the question...increasing the odds of it happening from when the question was first posted. the big chiefs of HD don't think that matters in "event" related questions. am i the only one who thinks it does? this is very simular to the "will bill clinton campaign for obama question." don't remeber the exact suspend date was, but it got extended to the end of the election. that added more time for the event to occur. lets say i wagered on it thinking bill won't been seen campaining with obama until oct 24th. the question suspened and settled on the 20th. i woulda won..now i lose. in this case of this question added more 3 days for the event to happen on. i wagered (cashed in awhile back) counting the number of saturdays before the election. now it has 3 more days it could happen the odds of yes shoulda been lower. if i ain't to lazy or tired i'll start a forum topic to get feedback from other user's.
According to The New York Post, the Republican running mate has sealed plans to appear on "Saturday Night Live" on Oct. 25. Palin's dress rehearsal is already set for Friday, Oct. 24, the paper reports.
But if Palin is readying her best Tina Fey impression, nobody close to her is giving any hints.
Neither the campaign nor NBC would confirm the report when asked by FOX News.
I'll believe it when I see it. However I could see it happening if she is way behind in the polls. It'll be her 'hail mary' long shot 8 points attempt. Good finale for her career.
I understand that the article states that Palin is set to appear on SNL (without posting direct link to their source, yay fox news!) but there is no direct evidence that she will appear alongside Fey (who isn't directly mentioned in the article at all).
I want to wager more against. I hope the suspension is lifted.

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is set to appear on this week's broadcast of "Saturday Night Live," the entertainment show that has featured a popular parody of the Alaska governor by former cast member Tina Fey. Palin will appear Saturday on the show hosted by actor Josh Brolin, who plays President Bush in director Oliver Stone's new movie, "W."
A John McCain campaign spokeswoman, Jill Hazelbaker, on Friday confirmed Palin's appearance but offered no details about what the Alaska governor will say or do.
