When will George Bush visit areas impacted by Hurricane Gustav?

While Hurricane Gustav continues to strengthen, some are already expecting the worst:

Gustav "could be as bad as it gets", Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal said of the hurricane, which reached Category 4 strength Saturday.

"We could see tidal surges of as much as 15 to 20 feet. We could see flooding even worse than what we saw in Hurricane Katrina," he said Saturday.

Forecasts currently have Gustav hitting Louisiana just days after the 3 year anniversary of Huricane Katrina.

Shortly after Katrina hit (on Aug 29th, 2005), the Bush administration was heavily criticized for it's response: "Due to the slow response by the federal government to the hurricane, New Orleans's top emergency management official called the effort a "national disgrace" and "Bush was criticised for not flying to Lousianna until after Wednesday afternoon, more than a day after the hurricane hit on Monday."

It took Bush just over 24 hours to visit after Katrina (for which he was criticized). So, will he make more of an effort to demonstrate a prompt response this time?

Depending on the damage and feasibility of accessing these areas, it could take longer.

As the GOP convention is scheduled for next week, this could be a distraction (as Bush is attending; is involved with; decides to address the nation from there; etc).
