Will Sarah Palin support a Democrat against indicted Alaska Senator Ted Stevens?

Settled as Palin make no statement for any candidate

Sarah Palin has been picked by Senator McCain to be his Vice-Presidential running mate. But at the same time, long-time Republican Senator has won the party's nomination for re-election as Senator.

Now Palin has shown some degree of lack of excitement for Stevens...how will she react as the VP nominee in regards to a fellow Republican's re-election campaign?

Will she support the Democratic opponent? OR swallow everything she supposedly stands for and urge the re-election of the "bridge-to-nowhere senator"? Or just ignore the fact that he is running for re-election, the "Ted Stevens-Who" mode of operation?

What will Sarah do?

A perfect storm to show that the McCain party can 'reach across the aisle'.

Wonderful market bayoubear!

An excellent market, but the 'make no statement' wording troubles me. She *could* make a statement of some kind that does not constitute support. Maybe the wording should read more like 'Palin makes no statement of support for any candidate', or something similar, you get the idea.
