How many eligible voters will vote in the Canadian Federal election on Oct14/08?

Settled as 0 to 60%

59.1% is the figure that is being reported by Elections Canada and most news agencies. Although these are based on pre-election day registrations. it may be a while to get the final tally of votes versus eligible voters. If the number changes when the final figures are released, I will consider resettling.

Background:

Preliminary results indicated that 64.9% of registered voters cast a ballot in the last election, a notable increase over 2004's 60.9%.

Category Editor Clarification: Figures will be rounded to whole numbers (xy.50000... will round UP)

Settlement note: Settlement will be delayed a little because the current totals do not include late registrations.
