Will there be rioting in the USA on Nov. 4th - 6th if Barack Obama wins the presidential election?

Settled as No

Barack Obama, is currently a presidential canidate for the next election. That election is said to be the most intense election in years. If Obama wins he will be the first black president. If John McCain wins, he will have the first women vice president. With a lot of people getting extremly into this new election it stands to reason that half the US is going to be dissapointed with whoever wins. Will they be dissapointed enough that if Obama wins there will be rioting? The definition of riots are as follows: a public act of violence by an unruly mob. If the person who settle these thinks that they see any protest or group who qualifys as this and is at least partly induced by Obamas election this shall settle.
If John McCain wins then this question will be voided.

Settlement details: As reported by a major mainstream news source.

Since when did Obama convert to being a muslim? He's a Christian. Or did you see him at your Mosque?

Maybe Rev Wright scared him away from Christianity ;-)

That was actually considered one of Barack's gaffes, when he said "My muslim faith" to ABC's George Stephanopoulos. He was quickly corrected.

I believe it was a gaffe, and an honest mistake, but I also believe it shows that his Christianity is not deep seated. Verbal slips like that often occur when someone is ambivalent about a given topic.

Kind of like McCain saying he's a proud liberal conservative ;-)

I meant to put arab. My mistake. However he did attend a muslim school in kenya as a child. To late for a admin to correct that? I purpously didnt put black because barack obama is only 6.25 percent black and over 80% arab. If elected he would be our first arab president.http://www.arcadeathome.com/newsboy.phtml?Barack_Hussein_Obama_-_Arab-American,_only_6.25%_African for more info.

Flagged for obvious inflammatory and false language in your 'question.'

@dragon - For the purposes of Hubdub, Obama is considered black. I've seen the link you referenced, but the consensus in the MSM is that he is black and we stick with that. Accordingly, I've changed "first muslim president" to "first black president".

Sorry. Ill be sure to be more neutral from now on when making my questions. Although Inflammatory seems a little harsh. And false language is a little much considering i slipped on one word. You see that question mark? That makes it a question!

He didn't attend a muslim school in Kenya. He never saw Kenya as a child. This statement alone goes to show how incredibly ignorant you are to facts, dragonfangxl. He attended first a Christian school in Jakarta, Indonesia and then was enrolled into a predominantly Muslim school. The dominant religions of these institutions had little to do with his mothers decision to enroll him there. She was searching for the best possible education for her child under the circumstances in which she lived.

I'm not even going to begin to refute the link you provided. I'm still laughing.

Riots can occur for reasons other than disappointment or anger.

Riots have occurred in Detroit and Boston following home team _victories_ in NBA championship games.

All it takes is a sufficiently large and excited (for whatever reason) crowd in the streets for something to start.

I think it's more likely that riots will result if Senator is NOT elected, than if he is.

Police departments in cities across the country are beefing up their ranks for Election Day, preparing for possible civil unrest and riots after the historic presidential contest.
