Which electric vehicle will Chrysler sell first?
Background: On September 23, 2008, Chrysler announced that it has developed prototypes of three electric vehicles. It also said that it would bring one of them to the market in 2010.
The three vehicles are the Dodge EV and battery powered versions of the Chrysler Minivan and Jeep Wrangler. The Minivan and Wrangler are called extended-range electric cars. An internal combustion engine kicks in after 40 miles of all-electric travel.
This market will be settled when Chrysler makes the announcement of which car it will sell first. However, they must plan to sell one of these cars before 2011.
