How long will Taro Aso last as Prime Minister of Japan?
)The previous Prime Minster only lasted a less than a year. Yasuo Fukuda decided to resign this week due to his extremely low approval ratings. So now Taro has the chance to make everything better, but currently he's got a big job ahead of him, fixing and reinvigorating the dismal Japanese economy won't be easy. Probably because he inherits an economy that is sagging in good due part to other countries economic malpractices (They know who they are!).
Not to mention the fact that the Liberal Democratic party plans to call a snap election in months time. Since Japans new lease on life in the 1950's the Liberal Democratic party has maintained control through extremely turbulent times, but the credit crunch now hitting the world financial markets has given the opposition an opportunity to finally gain control in Japan.
So will the credit crunch claim another victim in Mr. Taro Aso?
Settlement details:
As reported by a major mainstream news source. More than 1 year only means more than 1 year and less than 2. More than 2 years is the option used for settlement if Aso is still PM in two years
