Will the FDA ban any dairy products from China before the end of 2008?

Current forecast: 20% chance
Combining all predictions, the current forecast is that this is 20% likely to happen (unchanged in last 1 day)

During September and October 2008, the FDA has issued recalls for Mr. Brown instant coffee, White Rabbit candy, and Blue Cat flavor drinks - all due to melamine contamination. The food products sold in America that are most likely to contain Chinese milk ingredients are not covered by new FDA country-of-origin labeling requirements that went into effect recently for meat and produce. This question will be answered as a yes if any milk-derived ingredients such as powdered milk, milk protein concentrate, casein, or whey concentrate or dairy products from China are banned. Not all dairy products need to be banned to satisfy this requirement.

Do eggs count as dairy products? Sounds like a stupid question, but better to clarify in advance.

I guess I should read the background " This question will be answered as a yes if any milk-derived ingredients "
