Will the U.S. Presidential election outcome be challenged by accusations of voter fraud?

Settled as No

No reports of any accussations being made by the major campaigns.

Background:

Question created by
Background: Thousands of Americans will likely show up to the polls on Nov. 4 to find they are no longer registered to vote. That's an estimate based on past elections and the findings of two leading research groups that found state-sanctioned voter purges are widely inaccurate. With the election outcome likely to be close in many key states, enough to possibly tilt the election, Republicans and Democrats may both find themselves challenging states' voter registration methods in order to push the election into the win column.

I think it is very likely -

how will the question be settled? Anyone can make accusations. Does there have to be court action taken? Congressional action? What specifically needs to happen in order to settle this question?

If vote suppression could be included in this question, the likelihood would substantially increase.

The Democrat (Obama) would have to lose for a lawsuit to be filed. Even Nixon didn't file a suit when fraud was obvious. Do you think Obama could lose?

Election Worker Caught Changing Votes! Charged with Felony (photos)

Sean Stevens, a polling place worker in Monroe County, PA faces felony voter fraud charges for reaching into voting booths and changing people’s votes on Election Day.

Stevens, seen here in a video taken on November 4, 2008, set up a bench behind the electronic machines at the polling place he was overseeing and strolled back and forth encouraging people to vote for Barack Obama and actually reaching down and changing votes.

If Sean Stevens is guilty his sentence should be to spend the rest of his days in the least democratic place on the planet.

On a more serious note; OMG! Obama might not be president!?

On an even more serious note; What is wrong with the old paper and pencil method? The electronic method will always be subject to more integral doubts than the traditional method. If the USA doesn't welcome the traditional method soon, I predict they will be will walking around with purple fingers on election day in the not so distant future.

Yeah, I think low-tech methods often work best - there are fewer things that could go wrong. There might be a little resistance to running around with purple fingers though... but I could be surprised, people may like the silent "I voted - did you" reminder that goes with a dyed finger.
