Background:

According to http://www.fuelgaugereport.com, a year ago today (10/13) regular unleaded gas had an average price of $2.761/gallon. Today the price is at $3.206/gallon in Newark. Do you think the price of gas will continue to fall? I doubt it will fall to $2.75/gallon, but do you think it will at least fall below $2.90?

I filled up Friday evening at $2.499 per gallon in Texas!

I've never quite decided how to write this question, but I have always thought it would be interesting to predict on a particular date to be selected at a particular location: which costs more: a gallon of gas or a gallon of milk? Anybody want to try?

Well the hard part with that one is settling it. There is no nationwide survey for the average price of milk. There are several nationwide surveys for the average price of gas.
