in any case, the Australian music scene is very impressive - i'd suggest you check out the clips on the website
Gabrielle Cilmi is impressive also. I was surprised when I actually read how young she was. When first listening to her I wouldn't have come close to guessing her age.
I just listened to all five clips and quite like Nick Cave and DIG LAZARUS DIG...Hey, I can relate to Larry making his nest in the Autumn branches...and while I don't like rap, I do like this...
@sd - we must have the same taste, the living end were my absolute favourite band of all time when i was a teenager ... then my brother ends up going to school with their manager's son and gets to go backstage (and doesn't invite me!).
And gabrielle cilmi is all the rage in Australia at the moment (and quite popular in europe too) - she's got the most aria nominations this year.
I've already decided on my stage name: "Ridiculis". ("Ludicris" was already taken...)
