How many of Esquire's "Top Ten Worst Members of Congress" will not be in office next year?
1) Senator Joe Lieberman (I), Connecticut - Nough said
2) Senator Saxby Chambliss (R), Georgia - In 2002 he attacked incumbent Max Cleland, who lost both legs and an arm in Vietnam as soft on defense and lacking in patriotism. During Vietnam Saxby was claiming a "football injury," which couldn't allow him to serve. Real mature.......
3) Rep. Michele Bachmann (R), Minnesota - She defends traditional values a bit too much. We're all fine with religious hacks, but don't use the Congress as your soapbox.
4) Senator John Cornyn (R), Texas - Another one of those gay marriage is the work of the devil guys. If we allow gay marriage apparently he thinks we'll all start sleeping with turtles instead of humans
5) Rep. Pete Stark (D), California - Iraq was stupid, but Stark apparently believes that troops were sent in "to get their heads blown off for the president's amusement."
6) Rep. William Jefferson (D), Louisiana - William's congressional offices have been host to FBI raids due to corruption charges. And don't forget about the $90,000 found in his freezer
7) Rep. Steve King (R), Iowa - Stevie thinks that Barack Hussein Obama in the White House will aid the terrorists
8) Rep. Joe Baca (D), California - Baca likes patronage allot and when people call him out on it he likes to call them 'whores."
9) Rep. John Murtha (D), Pennsylvania - Murtha's another pork smuggler, bringing in around $100 million annually for his district. In 2006 he decided to vote against ethics reforms to downsize pork politics, saying it was 'total crap."
10) Senator Ted Stevens (R), Alaska - Alaska's 'consummate pork farmer' is now facing indictment for having a donor remodel his vacation house for about $250,000. Ted also brought us the 'Bridge to nowhere."
Although some might think the list would be basically all Republicans, not surprisingly everyone's equally corrupt in Congress!!!
