Tut: Where will be the king's third stop of his American tour that started October 3, 2008?

Suspended

Suspend date reached

Background:

Background: On October 3, 2008, the Dallas Museum of Art marked the first stop of a three-city American tour of King Tut's artifacts. The second stop was recently announced as a nine-month stay at San Francisco's M.H. de Young Memorial Museum. This latest tour is an encore of a recent tour, which had stops in Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago and Philadelphia.

The exhibits feature more than 130 artifacts. Due to high insurance rates, the gold death mask will not be seen on this tour. The mask was a feature of a 1972-1979 tour.

The suspension date is chosen as the opening of the San Francisco stop. However, it will be changed if no announcement has been made. If, by the end of the San Francisco stop, there are no further announcements, the question may settle as 'other'.

Looks like there are two Tut tours right now, according to http://www.kingtut.org/

This prediction is apparently talking about "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs", in Dallas Oct 2008 to May 2009 and San Francisco Jun 2009 to March 2010.

The second tour is called "Tutankhamun The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs", in Atlanta Nov 2008 to May 2009 and Indianapolis Jun 2009 to Oct 2009.
