I'm going to say YES because I can actually envision McCain getting misty seeing his life long ambition torched.

BTW, great question!

great question, sevignyj! I'm saying yes with HOPE! :)

Actually no, I anticipate Senator Obama actually being very antagonistic and a veiled call for a "long hot winter"...

hmmm, valor...we've not ever seen Sen. Obama "antagonistic". I don't think he'll be any less gracious that he's been all along.

but...may I add....it won't be Senator Obama delivering a concession speech. :)

OK, so are we talking misty eyed, a little teary or must the tears hit the cheek? Then I suppose that would be crying, weeping tends to suggest something a little more dramatic - crying with sobbing! McCain teary I can see, the weeping seems a bit more of a stretch. I think Obama may be teary during his acceptance too.

enmag,

Feel free to check my publicly posted wagers, I'm putting my HD$ where my mouth is, if Senator Obama wins the Presidency I will be down to about $10HD, if he loses it'll balloon to about $100K. Happy to play the contrarian on this one. To your point, Senator Obama typically appears very calm, curiously so many around him.... less so.... Michelle, his pastor, his friends, his associates, etc.

After two years of ridiculously hard campaigning for both candidates, I should think the loser is ENTITLED to at least a good sniffle or five...

The winner is entitled to be misty eyed and overcome...

Somebody should bring a portable wailing wall for Hillary: she is entitled to sit in a corner and HOWL...

And if John McCain should win, a recovery team and ambulance should be standing by to get him to emergency in a hurry...

If Obama should happen to win, I will be weeping for the future of our country.

CARACAS, Venezuela — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is willing to talk with Barack Obama if the Democratic candidate wins Tuesday's election.

Chavez says that relations between Venezuela and the U.S, now at their lowest point in years, could improve in an Obama presidency.

During a televised speech, Chavez said he would meet with Obama only what he termed as equal and respectful terms.

The thug is actually campaigning for Obama, does that say anything to anyone? And what kind of person would have JOY in seeing this kind of person in the White House?

I think notable tried to dismiss you because he believes that socialists cannot love their country the way he does. hm, having a second thought: I think he's right

Weep means there must be the verified watering of at least one eye.

Anyone who thinks we're going to be watching Obama give a concession speech really needs to have their head examined. Putting aside all political preference, this election has been over for months.

@tisha. I just flagged it with a request for a definition of "weep". I think it might mean different things to each of us.
