blacksoapman - don't know if thats a serious question or your just joking around. in case your serious. SCJ can leave at any time. i can't give you an accurate history as to when they decide to leave. their life time appointees. life can throw all kinds of unexspected things at a person. i'm guessing they try to leave in such a way that it don't disrupt the courts business.

How is this settled if one of them doesn't retire, but needs to be replaced for other reasons (let us say - there are a number of options, health, etc., etc.)?
