Will the 4,300-year-old pyramid discovered in Egypt be determined to be Queen Sesheshet's?
Apologies for the extremely long delay in resolving this question. The issue that led to the delay, and now to the void, is that the short time allowed for the question, given the slow pace of scientific identification, was perhaps not reasonable. The pyramid was discovered 2 months before the announcements that led to the question. Could the archeologists then both reach the burial chamber AND do all the tests and research based on their discoveries to make an announcement that the pyramid was in fact Queen Sesheshet's within 16 days? Given that the best estimate for arriving at the chamber was 2 weeks, the answer would seem to be no. Five weeks after the suspend date, there is still no news about the results. So the question is voided for incorrect initial odds (ie Yes should have been extremely low, given the extreme unlikelihood of all components of a "determination" being completed by the end of November).
Background:>
Archeologists in Egypt have found a 4,300-year-old pyramid.
The pyramid, which is believed to have belonged to Queen Sesheshet, was discovered in the sprawling rulers' burial site near the ancient city of Memphis about 20 kilometres south of Cairo, said Zahiu Hawass, Egypt's chief of antiquities.
Queen Sesheshet was the mother of King Teti, the founder of the sixth dynasty of Egypt's Old Kingdom.
Archeologists began excavating the site where the pyramid was found about two years ago, but only uncovered the find about two months ago, Hawass said.

Hawass said archeologists intend to enter the pyramid within two weeks to confirm it belongs to Queen Sesheshet, but expect that most of its contents will have been plundered by thieves.

This will only settle as "yes" if it is annouced to have been identified as Queen Sesheshet's pyramid before the end of November. It will settle as "no" for any other reason (not enough evidence left, researchers go on strike, or any other reason at all, other than a positive announcement asserting it to be the Queen's).
