will debut in 2009 at Ford Field in Detroit. The court will be in the center of the football field and capacity will be approximately 71,000. On Dec. 13, 2003, Kentucky played Michigan State at Ford Field in front of 78,129. Thus, the mega-Final Four

The chances that *three* first-timers make it is beyond astronomical, though only one is not impossible (Gonzaga, Davidson).
Teams in the top 25 that could spoil it and shoot it low: Pittsburgh (ranked 3rd), Gonzaga (5th), Xavier (14th), Davidson (22nd), Baylor (24th)
However, the great teams have also been great before....many times.
UNC = 18
Duke = 14
UCLA = 18
However, Connecticut has only been there twice, Pitt once, Oklahoma four times.
Long and short...the NCAA is hope to some of the biggest upsets in sports history due to its single elimination tourney played in such a short time span. MLB, NHL, and NBA play long playoffs with 7-game series, which almost always select the best team. NFL plays a grueling season and only selects 6 teams per conference meaning less variables as well.
This question is RIPE for specualtion, and I haven't calculated the exact suspend date, but I wish it would suspend the day before the elite 8 starts. It could get TONS of money piped into it. You could have big timers like UNC, UCLA, and Kansas playing newbies to the final four like Pitt, UConn, Notre Dame, Oklahoma..with their titles and this prediction all on the line.
