Will Michael Vick, convicted dog fighter/killer, sign with a team by kickoff 2009?
Current forecast: 43% chance

Combining all predictions, the current forecast is that this is 43% likely to happen (unchanged in last 1 day)
A quick editorial: I think Vick is scum and deserves poverty and pain for the rest of his miserable life. From what I can tell he's only sorry he got caught, not that he did it.
Michael Vick could be out of prison by July 20, 2009, just in time for NFL's 2009 season. Will anyone sign him by the first regular season game? To quote his lawyer, he "has every reason to believe that upon his release, he will be reinstated into the NFL, resume his career and be able to earn a substantial living."
Sadly, professional sports has a history of tolerating criminal activity if it means money in the stadium, so it's possible, though given how recent this was and the short time between release and the season, I'm setting the odds low. Hope I'm right.

This asks if he'll be signed to a team by kickoff of the first regular season game of the 2009 season. Since I don't know when that will be, I'm setting the suspend date to be September 1st and it can be adjusted accordingly when the 2009 schedule is released.
