Will Kentucky inmate receive additional jail time for escaping?
Current forecast: 70% chance

Combining all predictions, the current forecast is that this is 70% likely to happen (unchanged in last 1 day)
21-year old inmate Chad Toy escaped from jail on November 18. According to Toy, "It was a spur of the moment decision. I saw an open door and just ran through it. I am sorry about what I did. If I had it to do over again, I would have never run out the door."
What makes this story unusual is that Toy willingly returned to jail later that day. Jailer Bill Adams said that it was the first time in his 14 years working at the jail that he saw an escaped convict willingly return.
Toy is currently serving a four-year sentence and is awaiting trial on other charges.
