I just realized I wrote Starbucks as "Stabucks". Must be a New Yawk or Bahston accent!

Starbucks should be ashamed of themselves charging what they do for a cup of coffee that costs them ten cents. And, their coffee doesn't even compare remotely with Dunkin' Donuts. Let Starbucks go out of business for being ridiculously greedy. Good-bye Starbucks, hopefully!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't drink their coffee if you put a gun to my head. Wouldn't drink it if you gave it to me free!! They deserve what they get.

@bjo48: It's a free country. Starbucks can charge whatever they want. They rode the wave of excess for a while. Now it's time to cut back.

SBUX closed @ $7.17 today. That's the price of a venti latte with about five espresso shots.

Venti latte here we come!

Clarification: question only applies to the closing price on Dec 31, 2008. If the stock price dips below $4, but rises to greater than $3.99 on 12/31/08, NO LATTE FOR YOU!
