What will be the fate of Citigroup (NYSE: C)?

Settled as Citi raises enough capital to remain independent

Citi is still independent and now is trading around $7.50 a share, well up from its lows in mid-November

Background:

The stock price is down over 90% and Executives are reportedly considering a sale, merger, or capital raise. Reportedly, if the stock price remains under $5, institutional investors will be required to sell their holdings at the end of the quarter.
