You're right Icsnor. Thanks for pointing it out. I've flagged it to put in the option with the odds 15,15,15,15 and 40.

I assume you mean that they are removed from the list by dow jones for some reason? Filing for bankruptcy does not necessarily mean they won't continue to be a part of the Dow Indu 30, nor does having a stock price of umm 1/1000000 of a cent.

Yes. They have to be removed by Dow-Jones. I don't know if there is a precedent, but these are unprecented times in most peoples opinion. I'll do a bit a research (regoogling really) on previous changes to the list.

The makeup of the DJIA changes from time to time as companies listed change. Sometimes there's a weaker one that can be replaced by a newer, more viable company. I forget what the most recent change was, but it seems that within the past few months there was a company dropped and it was replaced by another.

So it is very likely that in these 'troubled times' there may be one or more changes in the next year.

As to adjusting (or fixing) the problem with the options, once a question is created, and particularly once wagers have been made, there's no way I can add or delete options. I can change an option itself but in this case that might still not fix the issue at hand.

So Petefin can either create the question again with the improved selection of options, or we can let this run to see if it will be settled before hitting the problem later next year.

I'm going to leave it suspended until I get word back from the creator.
