Where will President Obama attend church at?

Current forecast: Attends Another Church Not Listed (24% chance)
Combining all predictions, the current most likely outcome is Attends Another Church Not Listed with a probability of 24% (unchanged in last 1 day)

Whatever choice the Obamas make, it is sure to be analyzed through the prism of Obama's relationship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who was Obama's pastor for 20 years at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. (kdka.com)

Obama's predecessors dealt with church attendance in various ways. Jimmy Carter taught Sunday school at a Baptist church in Virginia while he was President. Ronald Reagan didn't go to church at all, citing the hassle of making a church set up security screening for parishioners. The Clintons drove down the street every Sunday to Foundry United Methodist, where Chelsea sang in the youth choir. George W. Bush never became a regular member of any local church, preferring to worship most often at the chapel at Camp David. (Time)

Obama does not have to be a registered member at the church. Only to be an attendee on a somewhat regular basis when world affairs and world travel don't get in the way of church services.

Settlement details: As reported by a major mainstream news source and after the Obama's have made a multiple appearance at services or have officially become a member at their first church service.

Fantastic question!

I'm guessing he's tired of church... he slept through Rev Wright's angry "G damn America chicken's coming home to roost and riding dirty" sermons

Yeah, I think you are right, FOF

Obama skips church, heads to gym

President-elect Barack Obama has yet to attend church services since winning the White House earlier this month, a departure from the example of his two immediate predecessors.

On the three Sundays since his election, Obama has instead used his free time to get in workouts at a Chicago gym.

Isn't there a rule about not ending sentences in prepositions, or some such thing like?

@bigken1: Yes. It's almost as bad as dangling a participle.

I find it ironic that if the Obama's attend a church in which the Pastor makes some comments considered by some to be wrong he is picked on. However, Mrs Palin has attended a church which has openly called for the nuclear destruction of the middle east so in that way the Second coming of jesus will happen faster; Mr bushes minister in texas has made some comments from the pulpit that are not printable and I notice flag waving and the great "seperation of chruch and state, Freedom of speech" comments on the part of the individuals so determined to "wave the flag." You are either a patriot for all peoples right to speak or you are a champion for none. When people are only FOR freedom of speech when they agree with a persons position, then it is not freedom of speech that you are really for; but rather supression of speech.
