Background:

CurrencyShares Euro Trust (Public, NYSE:FXE), The Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) seeks to reflect the price of the Euro. The Trust issues shares (the Shares) in blocks of 50,000 each (a Basket) in exchange for deposits of Euro and distributes Euro in connection with the redemption of Baskets. The investment objective of the Trust is for the Trust’s Shares to reflect the price of the Euro plus accrued interest less the Trust’s expenses and liabilities. The Shares are intended to provide investors with means of gaining investment benefits similar to those of holding Euro.

Growthy, great question. I'm surprised it didn't get more interest. Maybe it needs to be fx instead of the etf, or a shorter time frame from inception to completion, like 1 week. Anyway, I got to play practically by myself yesterday, which made for easy pickins.
