We kind of started in 1999 with the writing and the recording of Californication and we didn't really stop until the tour ended last year. We were all emotionally and mentally zapped at the end of that run.

The Chili Peppers decided to break for a minimum of at least a year in the beginning of the summer in 2008. Will the Chili Peppers reunite and play a show together during 2009?
