Denzel Washington has been tabbed to star as President Barack Obama in a biopic about the first African American president. Washington had long lobbied for the role, believing the window would be closing before he'd be too old to play the role.
Although Obama previously stated that he'd like Will Smith to play him, the Oscar winner got a crucial endorsement. "It was at the President's suggestion. The only problem is he has bigger ears than me." joked Washington.
