What will be the #1 film over Christmas weekend (Dec 25th - Dec 28th)

Settled as Marley and Me

In a surprise surge, Marley & Me beats out Bedtime Stories by nearl 10 million this Christmas weekend. A lot of people lost a LOT of H$ on this one (including me!!)

Background:

Background: We're entering the mega-holiday movie holiday season, with 5 major releases this weekend, and 3 big releases the weekend before.

CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT from Lesley
We recently ran a competition amongst our Hubdub Category Editors and the winner (Destry) received a Hubdub t-shirt. It seems however that Destry wants to double down on his prize and asked us if he could run a Hubdub contest, open to all Hubdubbers, with his t-shirt as the prize. Somehow, he managed to sweet-talk me into letting him run with it, so here are the details from Destry:

"I want to challenge your skills at predicting the Christmas weekend Box Office takings. All you need to do is email me with your prediction of which movie will lead the box office christmas weekend and how much that movie will earn. The winning prediction will be the person who chose the correct movie and was closest to the actual box office takings without going over. Each Hubdubber will be allowed one entry, you simply send an email to destry@hubdub.com include: your Hubdub user name, the name of movie you think will win, and the amount you think that movie will earn right down to the dollar. The deadline for entries will be 8pm ET on Thursday December 25th."

So if any of you guys fancy winning the t-shirt off Destry's back (ok, not literally!) then email him with your predictions on destry@hubdub.com

This refers to Dec 25th - Dec 28th
