What percentage of 2009 US college graduates will live with their parents after graduation?

Settled as Over 70%

2009 College Graduates Moving Back Home in Larger Numbers
FOSTER CITY, CA--(PRWeb)--July 22, 2009--

"Among 2009 U.S. college graduates, 80 percent moved back home with their parents after graduation, up from 77 percent in 2008, 73 percent in 2007, and 67 percent in 2006."

Background:

Background: With a tough economy, college students will struggle to find jobs which can sustain the income needed to get out of the nest. Many will return home to mom and dad after a six figure college education. The figures are stunning across the country and there is a little something different about this generation as well. They don't mind moving home.

Since this question is based on a report from CollegeGrad.com, which was released early last August, it would be reasonable to assume that another report this year would not be released until about the same time. In addition, some universities have just have their graduations, so the question is still up in the air in many cases. I am unsuspending this question, and resetting it to suspend in mid-late July to allow maximum wagering time, and also hopefully to minimize the time wagers may be held in suspension. Also, settlement will be based on reports of data from CollegeGrad.com, either through news reports or data directly from their website. This question may run some risk of a void, it the website does not provided that information, but it would seem that most likely they will report on this issue again this year.

Settlement details:As reported by a major mainstream news source.
