Will oil hit $20 a barrel in 2009?

Background: Oil prices are a funny thing, they're up they're down and they're everywhere. At first it was expected that oil prices were going to go up again, then they went down for a moment and now we're here. So in 2009, does $20 oil, seem plausible or even likely?

It's up to you, but the peeps at contrarianprofits are predicting it, albeit they don't think it will go any lower than that.

From your link....

"2. Iran will save oil. OPEC’s spotty execution in cutting oil output will not stop oil prices from falling further. But Iran’s refusal to stop its nuclear development program will beget serious sanctions from the West, threatening Iran’s oil exports. Oil prices will hit $20 per barrel and then start rising again."

So I suppose you meant to ask if oil would hit $20 a barrel, not would gas hit $20 a gallon...

Sorry about the confusion here, I've edited the market to state barrel.

Apologies,
Ryan

Now if you could just correct the "$20 gas" to "$20 oil" in the text, you'd be all set!
