Will Twitter be aquired before November, 2009?

Settled as No

Twitter is still twittering away and has not been acquired by anyone

Background:

Background: Twitter has taken off in the past year, so much so that even our esteemed CEO has a twitter account!

But like with all Internet companies everyone's asking, how do you make money? It's basically the same story with Facebook, as Facebook grows and grows it still hasn't found a good revenue source and therefore people are worried about investing in a service with no profit stream.

The idea though of Twitter and Facebook are closer to social utilities then actual companies. So will a company step up and buy Twitter?

Settlement details:As reported by a major mainstream news source.
