Will Britney be OK in 2009?

Background: Clearly the biggest entertainment news of 2008 was Britney Spears. She spent 2007 and the beginning of 2008 in a dizzying tailspin with aborted trips to rehab, a shaved head and two hospital stays. Finally, after her father was given custody of her and her assets things seemed to settle down and the last month of the year saw the release of her wildly successful album, Circus lead by a strong single, "Womanizer" which jumped to the top of the charts. We hope that this is a harbinger of stability to come, but many doubt that she can maintain her cool during the rigors of the coming Circus tour and the increased media attention it will bring. Can Britney make it through 2009 unscathed?

* She enters rehab
* She is "hospitalized" for "observation"
* She is arrested
* She does not complete the current tour (a single night cancellation due to sickness/weather does not count, we're talking a about a major cancellation here)
* She gets divorced in 2009 (which would require her also getting married first)
* She loses visitation rights with her sons
* She dies, suffers some major injury or significant diagnosis

If none of these things happen by the end of 2009, the market will settle as 'yes'.
