Will President Obama help DC's 600,000 residents win voting representation in Congress ?
Voided
Market voided. Market is about a good topic, however there needs to be clearer definition of what would generate a YES settlement. The way the market is phrased defining help could be controversial. Since the President would have very little impact on the outcome, maybe resubmitting the question asking if the action will be accomplished by congress. Also with setting settlement details, when a market is asking if an event will occur the suspend date is relative to the event. If market is asking if even will occur by a particular date then that should be spelled out in question title or background. Starting odds for a market should reflect likelihood event will occur within the given time frame.
Background:>
Background: In 2007, the 600,000 disenfranchised residents of Washington, DC were just three votes shy of overcoming a Republican filibuster and passing legislation to give them a voting representative in Congress for the first time. On Tuesday, the House took up the fight to strengthen our democracy once again, as Congressman Jerry Nadler chaired the Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties hearing on the "District of Columbia House Voting Rights Act of 2009." DC Voting Rights were well represented in Congress yesterday, but this fight is just beginning--once again.

Settlement details:As reported by a major mainstream news source. This must occur before or on the suspension date to settle as a YES. All other results settle as a NO

As to whether DC residents are being treated unfairly, I would argue NO while big spenders control both the White House and Congress.
november is a reasonable amt of time to expect passage in consideration of the presidential promises made during the campaign.
It is also after economic stimulus, after the summer break
and the odds considering it was defeated once before by the rupublicans and a 2/3 is needed
it has a 50/50 chance of passage
i've been poking around and see no evidence of overt mouthiness so far, so your point of an argument via email is probably closer to the truth.

Dems tend to be straight and cheat on their wives. Republicans have ALL kinds of issues. It's because they're so uptight. Oppression does weird things to a person evidently.
By the way...if you'd like to read the rest of the names of your peops on the list, pack a lunch and go HERE: http://www.armchairsubversive.org/
You are way off base if you don't think your crew is the walking warped, dysfunctional and kinky bunch on the planet. And they hate themselves for it. Let's take a look at the ministry and see how many fundies we can cough up ...but FIRST, I must share my FAVORITE Republican of all.....
GOT MULE?
Otis O'Neal Horsley, Jr. (born 1944) is an American political figure of the far right. He is the author of a website devoted to his advocacy of militant pro-life, secessionist, and anti-gay views.
Horsley was born in Bremen, Georgia. On May 5, 2005, Horsley was a guest on The Alan Colmes Show, a FOX News radio program. During that interview, and after repeated questions about his personal sinfulness, Mr. Horsley stated that when he was eleven years old he had engaged in bestiality with a mule on the farm he grew up on in Georgia. "I was a fool," Horsley told Colmes, crediting Jesus with forgiving and cleansing him of his "sin."[1] After serving in the Air Force in the mid-1960s, Horsley traveled to San Francisco, California, (interesting choice of cities) where he claims to have become an anti-war advocate and hippie. Horsley did time in jail on charges of drug possession, and it was there in 1974 that he converted to Christianity.
Now...lets see, The Trials of Ted Haggard are on HBO tonight but I'm sure we have lots of men of the cloth to bring forward.
Otis oneal huh? A anti war advocate and a hippy. Doesnt sound like any republican i know. Probably just a scuzz bag trying to mask his sleazy ways by adopting the republican ideals of honest values.

And notice Haggard didn't even make this list. There's SO many more.
Former Rep. Gus Savage. The Illinois Democrat was accused of fondling a Peace Corps volunteer in 1989 while on a trip to Africa. The House Ethics Committee decided against disciplinary action in 1990.
Rep. Barney Frank. The outspoken Massachusetts Democrat hired a male prostitute who ran a prostitution service from Frank’s residence in the 1980s. Only two Democrats in the House of Representatives voted to censure him in 1990.
Former Sen. Brock Adams. The late Washington Democrat was forced to stop campaigning after numerous accusations of drugging, assault and rape, the first surfacing in 1988. (my personal favorite. Real ideals man)
Rormer Rep. Fred Richmond. This New York Democrat was arrested in 1978 for soliciting sex from a 16-year-old. He remained in Congress and won re-election—before eventually resigning in 1982 after pleading guilty to tax evasion and drug possession.
Former Rep. John Young. The late Texas Democrat increased the salary of a staffer after she gave in to his sexual advances. The congressman won re-election in 1976 but lost two years later
Former Rep. Wayne Hays. The late Ohio Democrat hired an unqualified secretary reportedly for sexual acts. Although he resigned from Congress, the Democratic House leadership stalled in removing him from the Administration Committee in 1976.
And many many more. Keep in mind that list of christian evangelists is from hundreds of thousands of them scattered around the us. Id say 20 out of 10000 is a pretty good record. Much better than most jobs.
Here's the excerpt from Huff Po:
Rumors of the relationship had surfaced when the then-city commissioner was getting ready to run for mayor in 2007, but he and the teen both denied it at the time.
In a statement he released Monday confirming the relationship, Adams said he lied then because the rumors claimed the teen was underage. He said the relationship did not begin until after the teen turned 18 in June 2005. That is the legal age of consent in Oregon.
At the time, the teen was a legislative intern whom Adams mentored on being gay and in public service. He is now 21 and has not made any public comments acknowledging any relationship with Adams.

Your sayanything blog has twisted the facts. There is no crime here other than he denied ever being with this young man. Course...being a Republican I can understand how you think this is impossible.
