Will a high speed rail line for the Ontario/Québec corridor be announced in 2009?
Background: For the past 25+ years, there has been talk and multiple studies conducted regarding a high speed rail line through Southern Ontario and Southern Québec. To this point, nothing has happened. The provincial governments of both provinces, and the federal government have approved yet another study. What we're looking for with this question, is whether the study completes and plans move forward for the line. This is not about whether the governments are discussing or studying it, which has already occurred.
