Background: With the Dow going down and Gold going up it has become possible that they will meet. As Peter Schiff referenced in his book "Crash Proof," over the last hundred years, the Dow to Gold ratio has reach as high as 44:1 (2002), but twice (1930s & 1970s) has come back to reach levels of 1:1.
