Settled as Not launched by above dates/Other

It will now be no earlier than Sunday (3/15) until Discovery can be launched.

Background:

Background: After 5 scratched launch dates due to valve and other mechanical failures, NASA engineers have - most recently - set a tentative suspend date for March 12. The pressure is on as if it's not ready to fly by March 13, it cannot leave until after April due to clashes with other launches.

Settlement details:As reported by a major mainstream news source. Should settle on actual launch or otherwise, not just announcement/speculation as launch dates have changed so often in the past.

Looks like Discovery may actually launch on March 11 now - this would be classified as 'other'

So why the big sell off and bet on the 12th and 13th? When has Nasa ever fixed a problem in less than three days? Never.

If the Nasa site didn't release the Sunday date until 8:08pm EDT, why were bets placed three or more hours earlier voided?

The newsflash was dated 6.08 EDT - although I did use the GMT time to settle the question in any case. Is this another question affected by the timezone bug?

Hmmm, not sure. In any case, I couldn't find anything decisive until right around the time you posted the suspension and there had been a lag of a couple hours in there. I know these last minute news breaks are a bit of a gamble as to where the cut off time is.
