When will the high temperature in Washington DC first reach 75 degrees F?

Background: Less than a week after area schools were closed due to a snowstorm, the weather forecast calls for temperatures in Washington DC to rise to 73 degrees F (about 22C). This is awfully warm for early March, but not a record, which is 80 for March 7 and 86 for March 8th. The question asks: When will the official temperature recorded by the Weather Channel http://www.weather.com/ first reach 75 degrees F? It may or may not get there this weekend, likely to cool off again for a while.

Whew: made it to a sweltering 74 yesterday. Close, but no cigar...

FWIW, the average March maximum is 55.7, while in April it's 66.3, and in May it's 74.5...

And this morning we had snow showers again in DC. Talk about crazy weather....
The forecast for the next 10 days calls for only one day when the temp may approach the target of 75 (calling for a high of 70 on the 18th). So, March 7-21 doesn't look too likely. After that, anything can happen and probably will.

Guess what. More snow showers this morning in the western suburbs. Will be close to freezing again tonight. We sure could use a bit of global warming right now....

Well, I'm oin South Florida, so 75 isn't exactly sweltering; we've been in the 80s for weeks now, and have even seen a few days in the 90s. Having said that: I'll be closely watching the D.C. thermometer tomorrow... :-)
