Who will be first to discover the Higgs Boson, otherwise known as the "God Particle"?

Background: The Higgs boson is the only subatomic particle predicted by theory that physicists have not yet found. Finding the Higgs boson would be a key validation of what's known as the Standard Model of physics, which explains how the universe works.
Two huge particle accelerators are competing to be the first to discover this particle. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in France was exepected to win until an accident shut it down for a year for repairs. Now, the Tevatron in the U.S. is catching up, and may beat the LHC to the prize.

Don't you think 90% possibility of "finding" this within one year is a little too optimistic?

The question actually ends 1 Jan 2011, which is 20+ months away.
