At any point in the next three years will Google Ventures invest in Hubdub?
Background: Google has committed $100 Million to a new startup Venture Capital Fund. The fund will be led by William Maris & Rich Miner. In the blog announcement of Google Ventures the founders state they plan to invest across a range of industries, including consumer Internet, software, clean-tech, bio-tech and health care. It will bring "to bear Google's unique technical expertise and brand" to "find young companies with truly awesome potential and encourage their development into successful businesses."
Already this year Google Ventures invested in Pixazza a tech company allows Web publishers to earn money off images on Web sites by tagging items, like clothing, with links back to where the items can be purchased.
So will Google see Hubdub as a new young company with truly awesome potential in the next three years?
