Background: Megan actually flapped her "wings" over to the bottom 3 chairs last night. Seriously?

Its 80's week as this theme features songs "from the year they were born" and gives us some serious action in 1985. Both Anoop and Scott have been flirting with the bottom 3 for a couple weeks now, although some Vote For the Worst support might actually be enough to help one out of them -- and poor Allison sings her butt off every week and yet can't seem to get anyone to vote for her. Who will take the bottom spot this week?

Ok so what's with American Idol cutting off the last performances? If you DVR the show, you didn't get to see Adam's performance. Thanks to Joahuiwen for posting the link above. This is the 2nd time they've done that this season. Too many comments/judges making the show run long?

Also, I have to admit that Adam's performance was the best this week. Is there any doubt now that it's going to be a Gokey/Lambert final?

Fortunately for us, we Tivo'ed Fringe and so got to see Adam's performance and Simon joining the standing ovation. At this rate, Danny won't be much of a threat talent-wise for Adam. The competition will be based only on image and fan perception. Adam's showing some smart moves in that department over the last few weeks with the suit and tie, slacks and polo, jeans and T-shirt rather than the make-up and earrings.
