What's used for settlement? The accurate values from the Twitter website or the delayed (sometimes by as much as a week) values from Twitterholic?

The creator said settlement by twitterholic.

Twitterholic was later added by an admin. Picking Twitterholic to settle this bet is sort of contrary towards the actual question of "Who will be first to get 1 million Followers on Twitter?" since Twitterholic isn't accurate. Thus picking 'holic to settle this wouldn't answer this question but rather "Who is going to be first to get 1 million Followers on Twitterholic?".
Since this race is all over the news, we'd get a "better" answer to this question by picking a mainstream news source to settle this.

Twitterholic was listed as the settlement source by the question creator (the edit you see by me was merely to hyperlink it so it was easier to check the stats). On the other hand, I do lean toward a "obvious" settlement in this case. Whoever hits 1 million first should win. We'll get an official clarification soon.

I agree - an answer will come out of the mainstream press and it would be weird to settle differently just because one website gave a different answer. My guess is that tweetrace site is the more accurate since its numbers always seem to be higher than twitterholic...so its prob'ly the more up to date.

I created the question and am not averse to the Cat Editor selecting a different settlement source.

*Official Clarification* The market settles on mainstream news (likely the official twitter pages of each candidate).
