Background: Rep. Michele Bachmann is on a roll. Less than a week after suggesting a link between the swine flu outbreak and Democratic control of the U.S. government, the Minnesota Republican penetrated a heretofore unseen zone of weirdness and accused the Obama administration of premature fiscal ejaculation.

On Saturday, May 2, Bachmann delivered a rally speech in which she said the administration had engaged in an "orgy" of spending and that the government "spent its wad" too early. The previous administration, she noted, hadn't spent its wad until early August.

Hmmmm...so the radical right is going to compare the proper usage of a noun spoken by the very articulate Obama with the 'vulgar' mutterings of the borderline crazy Bachmann? Are they really sure they want to do that? :-)

@NN, where precisely has sqlman fabricated anything? Bachman IS a loon. that's why i did a Q on her. Obama IS an eloquent speaker whereas Bush was not.

Please don't make me trot out 8 years of Bush-isms to back up this claim. I'm trying hard these days to keep my comments short.

does that count the special appropriations given to the military each year?

can you put a dollar amount on loss of limb, life and loved ones?
