Green Day vs Eminem: Who's 2009 album is the best?
So who will have the better album and how do we tell? I'll take settlement to be based on Billboard's average critic rating for the top ten albums that they publish at the end of the year.

Thats the Rolling Stone Reviews only. The reviews will pour in this week, they both come out today.
I've listed to them both, and enjoy both kinds of music. Personally, I think the Eminem album is stronger, but the Green Day album will continue to get better reviews. Both make statements, both might be the best album of either's career, both will be enjoyed thoroughly by their fans, and both will go multi-platinum.
Both will get near the 4.5 rating, but Eminem made an extremely good rap album, while Green Day made a freaking modern-day Punk Rock Opera.
Slight edge to Green Day.
I like their early stuff and was honestly just turned off by the "American Idiot" era.
Though, I have given a good listen to the Eminem album and I thought it was his strongest since MMLP which is saying a lot.
I wonder how the critics will side tho.
