Will SETI identify intelligence from outside of our solar system in 2009?
Background: The Search for Extra-Terrestrial Life program -- SETI, for short -- is dedicated to identifying transmissions from outer space that would indicate the presence of intelligent beings. Will 2000 be the year that the project hits paydirt?
