Will GM move its headquarters out of Detroit in 2009?
Background: Rumors, rumors. Could it be that General Motors really would consider abandoning its Detroit headquarters building and move its central operations somewhere else? Or is it just a scare tactic, to get concessions from the unions or whoever else GM may need to scare. News background:

During a briefing with reporters today, General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson was asked if the company would move from its glass tower headquarters in downtown Detroit. That idea was kicked around in the local papers last week. Henderson was hardly convincing in his denial that GM could move. He said “We’re looking at everything,” but added that “we don’t have any plans” to move the headquarters. That answer has even less conviction that George H.W.
