However, they might not have it all their own way this season with Manchester City playing their own version of fantasy football (but with real money), Aston Villa improving year on year and Everton hoping for a repeat of their 4th place finish in 05. Other teams harbour ambitions of their own too.
So, come the end of the 09 / 10 season who will have booked their places to compete in the following seasons Champions League?
