Will the iPhone Commodore 64 be available in the App Store after all, this summer?

Background: The iPhone is fast becoming home to many forms of retro gaming applications, but one of the most promising - a licensed Commodore 64 emulator - has failed to make it past Apple’s labyrinthine App Store approvals process. It’s a big disappointment to those who want to enjoy a bit of gaming nostalgia from their handset, which is more than up to the task. More importantly, it’s yet more proof that something is completely wrong with the App Store approval system.

Will the C64 emulator, developed by manomio, be available in the Apple App Store after all (in any form) before suspension of this question?

WOW! Commodore 64. That was the first computer I ever owned. Are they seriously trying to interface this with iPhones?

I read an article recently that said that it has been rejected by Apple. If you don't believe me, read that article at:

Another thing, they should have allowed the emulator, especially since the maker of the app has permission from the license holder of the Commodore 64. On top of that, the maker of that app has the "blessing" of Apple Europe. Why doesn't the Apple here in America like it?
Here's their quote on why they say it isn't acceptable (as seen in the article posted in my previous comment):
Thank you for submitting C64 1.0 to the App Store. We've reviewed C64 1.0 and determined that we cannot post this version of your iPhone application to the App Store because it violates the iPhone SDK Agreement; "3.3.2 An Application may not itself install or launch other executable code by any means, including without limitation through the use of a plug-in architecture, calling other frameworks, other APIs or otherwise. No interpreted code may be downloaded and used in an Application except for code that is interpreted and run by Apple's Published APIs and built-in interpreter(s)."
Strange how Apple Europe thinks it's okay. But still, it does sound like it would be a really really good app.
