Background: In Loudon, Tony Stewart once again took this question, bringing Dale Jr along. With the rain-affected ending, they came in with one of the lower winning scores at 289 points.

I am beginning to notice a Tony Stewart trend here. Can you say 2009 Sprint Cup Champion?

Next week, the series travels to Daytona. I'm going to stick out a wildcard pair here, of Kenseth and Waltrip. The one kind of track Waltrip does well at, and of course, Kenseth won the 500.

This week, the upper bracket holds unchanged.

The lower bracket has a couple of changes, losing Bowyer and McMurray, while gaining Burton and Mears.

Pairing drivers from 1-5th in the standings with Drivers 16-20th, in reverse order for handicapping, also including one bonus pair from outside those windows.

In case of a tie, the win will go to the pair with the driver who has the best individual finishing position.

Slight embarrassment on my part. I have been calculating points incorrectly... adding the bonuses twice. Flame away, but I promise never to repeat that mistake. I hope I haven't settled any of these wrong, but I'm sure if I did someone would have called me on it.

It was coming out that way because nascar.com lists the points AND the bonus, I thought I was supposed to add them. Guess not. The most this could possibly change the results by is 15 points, or a swing of 30 points. I will go back through and see if any of them were that close.

I was just doing research on this question tonight when I stumbled across it. My bad.

Ok, on further review, there was no 30 point swing, because I was only taking away points, not reassigning them. So the most I could take away from a team was 15 points, and that didn't put anybody under the second place result for any of the races.

None of the results would have changed, though my high score table would. Busch and Martin remain tops, with 365 points instead of 380.
