Japanese Yen: up or down vs. the US$? Which will come first: 100 ¥ or 95 ¥ by July 31, 2009?

Settled as 1 US$ drops to 95 ¥ or below - the dollar stinks

On Tuesday, the Yen closed at 94.8137 to the USD.

Background:

Background: The Yen, unlike the other currencies had become much weaker against the US $ due to the slumping Japanese economy. In the summer of 2008, the Yen dropped to where 1 US $ was worth over 110 YEN. Since then, the Yen showed relative strength, reaching a value of about 89 Yen to 1 US$ in January 09. The dollar then strengthened, reaching 99 ¥ in early March. With recent weakness in the US$, we briefly dipped to about 94.5¥ to the dollar in mid March, but the USD rallied in April, peaking at 101 ¥. More recently, the $ has bounced between about 94 and 99 ¥. As I write this 1$ = 96.93 ¥, up from 95.175 just a few days ago.
So, will the dollar continue to rise and reach 100 ¥ or more, drop to 95 ¥ or below, or remain between the two values by end of trading on July 31, 2009? Settlement will be based on closing price as reported on www.finance.yahoo.com between now and July 31, 2009 (inclusive).

Settlement details:As reported by a major mainstream news source. http://finance.yahoo.com between now and end of trading July 31, 2009
