After several media outlets reported all day on Wednesday that there would be a public viewing for Michael Jackson on Friday July 3rd at his Neverland Ranch, the Jackson family released a public statement saying that those plans were wrong. They assure us, however, that "plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly."

Will there be any kind of public viewing/public memorial for Michael Jackson by Monday July 6th? Jackson's remains must be present at the event and the general public must be allowed to attend to qualify as Yes. The time zone used for this question is whatever time zone the viewing/memorial is held in (probably Pacific).

: News broke on Thursday that the Jackson family was planning for a public viewing on Tuesday at the LA Staples Ceneter. Perhaps this market should have been suspended when that was known. In any case, I think we can settle this now. We might have to do some back voids of predictions, too.
